October: A Month of Devotion, Sadhana and Divine Grace

Devotees of Shri Maharaj Ji walk the path of ananyata: exclusive devotion to Shri Krishna. Whatever form of God they worship, their prayer ultimately remains one: “May I receive Shri Krishna bhakti. May I develop selfless seva and attain His divine love. May I be united with Him.” Navratri, therefore, becomes a beautiful opportunity to pray to the Divine Mother in Her different forms with this very feeling: “O Divine Mother, please bless me with unwavering devotion to Shri Krishna. Please bring me closer to Him and grant me the strength to walk the path of bhakti.” This is the spirit in which we can celebrate Navratri: not merely seeking worldly blessings, but seeking the highest blessing of all: divine devotion.

The most sacred occasion of the month is Jagadguruttam Jayanti, the appearance day of our Gurudev, Bhaktiyoga Rasavatar- the embodiment of divine love and bliss. He descended into this world out of boundless grace, to shower divine knowledge, devotion and love upon countless souls. For every sadhak, this occasion is far more than a celebration; it is a reminder of the immeasurable grace of our Gurudev.

The Sharad Purnima Sadhana Shivir makes this month even more special. A whole month dedicated to sadhana, immersed in spiritual practice at Shri Kripalu Dham Mangarh, is a rare and precious opportunity. To step away from worldly distractions and devote our time, mind and heart to bhakti is itself a great blessing. This month-long sadhana is a profound grace bestowed upon us by Gurudev, an opportunity to deepen our spiritual practice and earn invaluable spiritual wealth under the shelter of the Guru.

May we make the most of this sacred month, not simply by observing its festivals, but by turning inward, increasing our remembrance and filling our days with sadhana, seva and devotion.
