jānūṁ jaba taba mānūṁ taba hauṃ prema tosoṃ rādhe -
'jāne binu na hoi paratītī। binu paratīti hoi nahiṃ prītī॥'
When we understand the true value of something, then faith arises. And when faith arises, love follows automatically. For example, if someone finds a touchstone (parās) and realizes it is truly a touchstone, they will instinctively cherish it and carry it everywhere to touch anything made of iron to turn it into gold. Knowing about something leads to acceptance, which in turn leads to love. So Shri Maharaj Ji says to Kishori Ji on our behalf, "O Radharano! I cannot truly know You, for You are beyond the grasp of my intellect. This is because my intellect is material, while You are divine. So, how can I believe in You without knowing You first? And how can I love You without believing in You? Therefore, it is You who must first reveal Yourself to me - only then will I be able to believe. Then, love will follow automatically. So, You must take the first step."
Throughout India, wherever Radha and Krishna's divine descension takes place, very few people truly understand who Radha Rani is. Some people have a faint idea about Shri Krishna, but people who know about Kishori Ji are extremely rare. Even among those who claim to know, there is often a grave misunderstanding - they think that Radharani is merely Shri Krishna's consort, much like the worldly relationship of a husband and wife. That is the limited extent of people's knowledge.
Generally, people consider Lakshmi-Narayan to be their worshipable deity, hoping to gain material prosperity through Their grace. However, only when a genuine saint reveals Radharani's divine identity can we have faith in her and truly love her. Without meeting an authentic saint, we cannot know Her, and therefore cannot accept Her. Consequently, we will not be able to love her.
