Our beloved Badi Didi, who taught us the lessons of Guru Bhakti, Guru Seva, and Guru Nishtha, has today become the subject of our Roopdhyan. She held our finger and taught us to walk, showing us the path of Guru Bhakti. She was the one who explained to us the complete mystery of Maharaj Ji's divine discourses. She alone practically made us realize that Maharaj Ji is causelessly merciful, His grace is boundless, and His countless benefactions are upon us. Our Badi Didi dedicated every pore of her being for the welfare of souls and gave us the knowledge of Guru's glory. Sacrifice, penance, surrender, love - these are the synonymous with our Badi Didi.
Every moment of her life was dedicated to Guru Seva. Without caring for her own food, rest, or health, she had only one goal - to somehow guide us to walk on the path of Maharaj Ji's principles. Her surrender and sacrifice have become a part of history. The moments we spent with her - her association, love and motherly affection - may have seemed ordinary to us then, but today, they have become a treasure trove of memories for us. They are a source of inspiration for us and continue to push us forward.
Even today her sweet words are echoing in our ears - "You will surely attain him, surely attain him, surely attain him."
The effort she made for the development of the organization is beyond imagination. No one can truly comprehend, describe, or write about it.
Who is capable of writing her divine story in mere worldly words?
After Shri Maharaj Ji's departure to Golok, we became like orphans, wandering without direction. She held our hands and gave us strength, courage, power, and strengthened our faith that "Maharaj Ji is right here, right here, right here." The way she handled all of Maharaj Ji’s responsibilities makes it clear that she was the embodiment of purity. A wonderful story of divine, selfless love was hidden within her.
The way she carried forward all of Maharaj Ji’s construction work is truly astonishing. The way she brought about development in Vrindavan - by building Prem Bhavan, a hospital, and numerous residential buildings - is beyond description. She brought so much transformation to Mangarh that if a sadhak returned after twelve or thirteen years, he would not recognize it. All of this is the result of Badi Didi’s tireless efforts.
Gurudham Bhakti Mandir is an unparalleled gift from our Badi Didi to the devotees of Shri Maharaj Ji. Every stone there is alive - she sculpted each stone with her artistry. Even while unwell, she visited the site each morning to guide the construction of Gurudham Bhakti Mandir. This temple will continue to glorify Maharaj Ji - Bhaktiyog Rasavatar, the divine incarnation of devotional nectar, who reconciled all philosophies and faiths - for infinite lifetimes. The temple is the very embodiment of Maharaj Ji himself - realized through the unwavering dedication of our Badi Didi.
Our audio-video department, through which the heritage of Shri Maharaj Ji remains preserved, is also the result of her efforts.
Right from childhood, she exhibited deep Guru Bhakti, and the way she contributed to every endeavor of Maharaj Ji is beyond description. Her life is an incomparable saga, a matchless story - a tale of sacrifice, penance, and surrender.
The book titled 'Ultimate Surrender' has been published. By reading about the ideal form of Guru Bhakti - the eternal sakhi of Radharani, our beloved Badi Didi - you will surely feel inspired to deepen your own devotion. She alone taught us that our life is meant solely for Guru Seva. She transformed every moment into an opportunity for Guru Bhakti. Even in the most challenging situations, she continued her seva with a smile. Even when she was ill in the hospital, her mind remained absorbed in Maharaj Ji’s public welfare programs. When she looked out the window and saw exercise machines installed, she immediately said that similar machines be installed in Mangarh as well. Not a single moment passed in which her mind was not engaged in contemplation of the Guru.
Maharaj Ji's wrote the essence of the Vedas and Scriptures in one couplet -
Hari Guru bhaju nit Govind Radhey
Bhaav nishkaam ananya bana de
She was the living embodiment of this principle. The way loved God and Guru selflessly, served without any desire and inspired us to contemplate and remember Shri Maharaj Ji with exclusive devotion is truly beyond words.
Even her departure to Golok became an example of Guru Seva - through her final sacrifice, she etched Maharaj Ji’s principle into our mind: "The human body is momentary; who knows when it might be taken away? There is no guarantee of the next moment." Even those who did not know Shri Maharaj Ji came to know him after this event and became eager to become associated with Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat.
The way she organized numerous Brahm Bhoj ceremonies in honor of the ascension to Golok of Maharaj Ji, Amma Ji, and Aaji; the way she helped the poor and carried forward Maharaj Ji’s public welfare programs - these are matchless examples.
Countless salutations to such a Guru Bhakta - our Badi Didi. Countless greetings and obeisances at her lotus feet!
Although it is impossible to fully capture this unparalleled story, the publication of this book has been made possible through her grace and the inspiration of Shri Maharaj Ji.
Only through Guru Seva can your ultimate goal be achieved. Through this book, you will understand how to truly celebrate Guru Poornima and how to dedicate your life to Guru Seva. Every devotee should have a copy of this book.
