There are two types of actions - you have two things: 1) the body and 2) the soul.
You may postpone the actions related to the body, but do not postpone the actions related to the soul. Instead, you do the opposite. You immediately utilize your body, mind, and wealth in worldly affairs, but keep postponing when it comes to the realm of God.
Why have infinite lifetimes passed by?
Numerous saints have explained to us, and we understood, but we still postponed surrendering to God and practicing devotion, thinking we would do it tomorrow. And before tomorrow arrived, we left, as the time of Yamaraj came. Everyone must go according to their time; no one can ward off death, regardless of who they are. One has to leave at that very destined moment, willingly or unwillingly.
There is no guarantee that you have even one more moment to live, so do sadhana immediately. If you remember this formula, you won't become careless. When you get half an hour, you waste it on useless chatter and gossip. Do you think such actions will lead you to Golok?
As people grow older, they often say to their children, "Our time is over; now it's your turn to think about your life." But is your time really over? Where do you think you will go after death? What devotional practice have you done that gives you the confidence to speak like this?
Don’t say, "My life is over." Say instead, "I wasted this human birth. I destroyed myself." One who does not attain God before death - or at least make genuine progress in devotion - is considered a slayer of the soul: "ātama hana gati jāi."
Therefore, do not procrastinate - Practice devotion immediately.
